Getting Excited About Wine!
I keep on hearing about Gary Vaynerchuk's very entertaining Wine Library TV, and on a whim I decided to watch the latest episode. I have to say, the only thing I regret is that I didn't start watching WLTV earlier. I like the site, I like the video player with it's tags to easily jump from wine review to wine review, and I like the fact that even though I barely drink wine, I'd find myself smiling at Gary's enthusiastic reviews.
I'm definitely making this guy a regular on my entertainment schedule, and I'm talking on the same line up as Chuck & Heroes on NBC, the occasional rerun of Star Trek Voyager on UPN, and my hours of playing Xbox 360. That's right, I'm ranking this guy up there with video games. I don't even drink wine for crying out loud, but I guess I'm obligated to start now!
So, with November being my month for gift recommendations, I offer to you the gift of wine. Obviously this isn't something for the kid's wish list, but if you're debating grabbing something for a close friend or relative, I can't see much of a problem with a solid bottle of wine. Enjoying a glass sounds to me like the perfect way to spend Christmas Eve, or a night of gift wrapping. Of course, if you're anything like me, you don't know where to start...
Well, now you do! I'm not going to say it's as easy as watching Wine Library TV, but with 347 episodes as of this post, I think you have a place to start. WLTV happens to have a section dedicated to newbies, and links to plenty of other wine related resources.
Happy wine hunting!

Would the TMNT Leonardo count as a good substitute for Lion-O?
