Employees Only - Bacon on the Case
What's really funny is that Dr. Collin's degree is in marketing.
Bacon's degree is in particle physics. He is also an explosives expert.

And so it ends. Many thanks to all who stuck with me to the end of this bag of lies and shenanigans, whether it was at work or here on my site. I hope you enjoyed it!

Employees Only - The Insanity Gales
I originally posted this guy up at work only to realize I needed to add more wind, so it's been delayed from Friday. On further inspection, I'd probably want to redo the entire panel, but sometimes you just have to convince yourself something is finished and hope to do better next time. So, uh...next time I draw Insanity Gales I promise to do better.

Employees Only - Road Boat
Only with comics can I have the chance to deliberate whether a road boat rides the lanes of traffic like they're liquid or like they're a solid...then do both because I can and the hell with it. When did any of this need to start making sense I ask you?

Employees Only - Captive Audience
I'm putting these guys up at work, so I'll be updating the comics more regularly since I only have this month to finish the story. With any luck this month will be relatively quiet so I can find the time to get it all done (fingers crossed)!

Employees Only - A Far Away Land
Well, so much for my intended schedule. Here's the 2nd comic from last week - I'll try to put up the next two this Tuesday and Thursday.

Employees Only - The Tale
This comic starts off the official story line I've been working on for my "Getting To Know You" board at my job. It's basically nonsense loosely based off my real life, and because of that I've actually had a lot of fun with it.
I have about 13 comics planned for this story line, and I'm wanting to update twice a week. The kicker here is that I have a deadline (sorta) to have these comics up on the bulletin board at work during October, so no matter what I need to finish the story by Halloween. I hope you enjoy it.
(And I hope I finish it!)

Employees Only - Damn You Mix
The Mix returns to med school classes today, and that means his time for home-made video game apparatus building and cat photography will be limited. But something tells me we'll hear from him again.

Employees Only - WMDs
Despite what some people might think, The Mix isn't really a stock webcomic trope character, he more or less represents the real Mix. There is a ridiculously thin line between his comic persona and his real one; so writing his character is usually as easy as having an online chat with him. I don't think foreign governments have anything to worry about, but he does have seven more years of med school, so you never know.

Employees Only - Dr. Evil
The Mix - need I say more?
I just started using Manga Studio for my comics, and it's taken awhile to nail down the features so I could mimic my comic's look. So far I'm pretty excited about it!

Latest Portrait Commission
I've updated my portfolio site, iancastruita.com with my latest commission.
I created a portrait for a client who was looking for a unique gift and asked if I could reproduce a photo as a charcoal and pencil drawing. This is my first military portrait, and I'm thrilled with how it came out. It was also a nice to step away from a computer screen and sit down in front of an easel again!
Special thanks, as always, to my older bro for lending a critical eye to the process and pointing out where I needed to improve this piece.

Employees Only - The Din
-Click on the comic for full view.-
I don't know if it was necessarily worth the time it took to finish this guy, but I'm glad to have done it. This blog used to be filled with ranting of one sort or another, however over time I've found other places to vent my ideas, and I ended up turning en•blog into a place for my artwork and comics. To be able to vent like I used to and make it a comic is a lot of fun - and something tells me more people will read this than did my old rants (it's shorter).
Anyways, thanks for finding your way to my site today... I'm all too aware that you have plenty of other choices.

Employees Only - Dressed For Success
I've heard success moguls often say you should dress for the job you want, not the one you have. Unfortunately for those of us wearing name tags and hairnets, the uniform isn't really up for debate.
The whole topic of workplace appearance is actually fascinating to me, enough that I may break out a rant some day to really vent out all my thoughts on it. Until then, here's hoping more comics find their way on to the site! It's always a good day when I finish one.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Employees Only - Hot Air
Anyone else reading awesome books out there in Internet land? I've been really enjoying Ready Player One by Ernest Cline - so much that I thought it be fun to put an 80's reference in the comic. First person to find it tweet me the correct answer @ENTweetin and I'll draw an Employees Only avatar for you*.
-ic
* Quick legalese - I'll base the winner on the time stamp of the tweet as shown on Twitter (which means I have to be able to see the post on twitter.com, so if your account is set on private add me or set it to public). If for some reason there is a tie I'll try to draw an avatar for each party. I have the right to refuse rewarding anybody for any reason I see fit, so be nice and polite and don't make a request for an avatar that's offensive. Let see, what else? Uh...I make no promises on a delivery time for said avatar drawing, but quite frankly I don't think it'll take that long - I'm guessing sometime in 2013 ;). The reward will only be a PNG formatted 256X256 resolution file that I will design and create as I see fit, so don't bother asking for original artwork or having me draw it with oil paints or something like that. I will DM the winner via Twitter with a URL that they can download the PNG from, and I'll leave it available for download for as long as I want, but probably for at least a month. I retain all copyrights, but if you want to put it on a shirt or something just ask me before you do - otherwise it's just a website avatar for your personal use.
What a pain is this legal stuff, am I right? If I'm honest The Mix is probably going to win this anyway, so I shouldn't worry about this legal stuff 'cause I'll end up drawing his cat.

Employees Only - Toilet Humor
Last year I was very fortunate to work on comics for an educational software company, and it quickly dawned on me that I needed to do more of that type of work. So, I'm currently trying to develop a business around making comics for businesses, schools, governments...really anyone! I think there's a big opportunity in using comics to convey information, and hopefully as this year goes by I'll have more news on how that's going!

OPPC 2012 Holiday Card Illustration
With the holidays over, it's time to show off some of the work I had in 2012. Although it took me away from my web comic, the work did help pay the bills and hopefully push me one step further toward full time illustration.
Here's the first illustration to show off - my annual holiday card illustration for OnePoint Patient Care. Click the image to view it in my portfolio.
